My Camera Gear

Below you can find the Camera Gear that I use for my photography as well as my videos. I try to keep this page up to date with the stuff I actually own and use, so feel free to check in on a regular basis.

The Sony a7 IV is right now my main camera. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it is insanely capable - especially considering its price.

The Leica Q2 (now Q3) has replaced my Fuji X100V and is now my everyday carry companion camera. Its insanely capable and it has quickly become my favorite camera of all times. It also looks great and of course - its a Leica (sigh). It is therefore however also unreasonably priced. Still though, worth selling an arm and a leg for if you ask me. It is that good.

The Q2 is no longer available, so I linked its younger brother (the Q3) above.

The Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM Lens is my main workhorse for my videos on Youtube. The quality is out of this world.

Some day I hope to also add the 35mm GM to my arsenal.

The Sony 55mm f/1.8 Zeiss Lens is my favorite Sony lens for photography. Small, lightweight, looks great and feels high quality. Love the Bokeh. Close focussing. Unintimidating for portraits. Just the best.

The Tamron 20-40mm f/2.8 is not the last word in terms of image performance but its fairly cheap and lightweight and that makes it the perfect vlogging lens. Due to its lightweight plastic construction it can however feel a bit like cup of yogurt at times.

The Sony 24-240mm is an absolute beast that offers all the versatility in the world… albeit at the cost of being a fairly beefy boy. But it packs 2-3 lenses into one so I’d say its well worth it. The only downside really is the bad close focussing distance of 0,5m.

Everybody needs a 70-200mm lens but since I rarely every use one, I got the cheapest one available for Sony Full Frame cameras. (This is the Gen 1 Version)

My most recent camera acquisition - the Fujifilm X100 VI. I have been a X100 shooter since the X100 F. This is the latest and greatest Version of the X100-Line and especially with the new IBIS its a lot more useable in low light situations as well as for handheld video shooting. Perhaps the best travel camera on the market.

28mm is one of my favorite focal lenghts and this WCL-X100 II allows me to have a 28mm (FF equiv) field of view with my X100 VI. Love it!

50mm is one of my second favorite focal lenghts and this TCL-X100 II allows me to have a 50mm (FF equiv) field of view with my X100 VI. Slightly more compression and bokeh. Adds a bit of bulk but well worth it in my opinion.

My favorite Camera for Vlogging and on the go video shooting - the Sony ZV-1 II. For its size and weight the capabilities of this camera are outstanding. And this Mk. II also now offers an appropriately wide field of view. Also its everyone loves a camera with a haircut. Good stuff!
